Angels Fever

It's baseball season again, and that means plenty of Angels baseball-watching is going on around these parts. And not just for Norm. He's hooked Lauren on the Angels, as in Angels are "yay" and all other teams are "boo."

It was only fitting, therefore, that I snag a set of my firm's season tickets and treat the family to a game on Labor Day.

The Big A welcomed us with open arms on a particularly balmy afternoon.

We arrived 2 hours before game time to see batting practice and in hopes of getting some autographs for Lauren.

Regrettably, not a single player came over to greet our auburn-tressed super fan. Their loss, clearly.

With over an hour to spare until the first pitch, we ventured over to the kids activity area, where Lauren demonstrated her ring-tossing prowess.

Followed in short order by her spot-on pitching skills, clocked at 9 mph (ha!).

Before we knew it, we took our seats and it was time for the action to begin.

Our fan was ultra enthusiastic and completely in her element.

Especially when cotton candy was added into the mix.

The Angels hit several home runs, with fireworks exploding following each one.

We left in the 5th inning (droopy eyelids were involved for the littlest Katz), but of course our presence at the game ensured an Angels victory. Go Team!
