Lauren's presence in classroom KC was more than evident.

We were greeted at her table spot with a message and invitation to pen a note for our kindergarteners to read the next day.

Which is exactly what we did.

We saw self-portraits.

And read about tales of weekend fun.

["On Sunday I had a play date with Cadence" - only 6 of the 15 kids in the class are actually writing in their own words about their weekend activities; we are so proud!]
All 3 kindergarten classes visited the Hebrew studies room, where we sang songs and witnessed how the kids celebrate Shabbat each Friday. Lauren is truly loving learning Hebrew and about our culture.

So far Lauren seems to be settling into her new school and enjoying her time there (although we still have occasional tears when we drop her off, which dissipate within moments of our leaving, we're sure).
We know she will continue to bloom and grow as the year progresses.

That is excellent writing, Lauren! You're a super-girl!!!
Apparently, I'm not finished praising your child...
Most impressive is the spacing between her words!!!
