X Marks The Spot

Every family has traditions that are passed down from generation to generation. Succulent recipes, heirlooms and fine jewelry. Well, one of the most loved traditions of the Cohen family is a little different, but still just as treasured.

From infancy, all children of the Cohen clan were taught the proper method for back scratching, tickling, and giving the chills. It goes something like this.

X Marks the Spot
With a Dot Dot Dot
And a Dash Dash Dash
And a Question Mark (really draw out the word "question")

Now You Have the Chills

Needless to say, Lauren was initiated into the club before she could even speak, and is now a pro at giving and receiving X Marks the Spot. Still working on getting her to utilize the entire back (as opposed to a few square inches), but she's getting there. Given her proclivity for being tickled and scratched (no doubt in this Mama's mind that it's completely genetic), I've no doubt the tradition is bound to continue for at least another generation to come.
