Lil Gymnast

End of the semester at The Little Gym can only mean one thing. It's Show Time.

Maybe it's the influence of her fun jazz outfits, or perhaps it's due to the "real" gymnastics leotards she saw during a couple of gymnastics birthday parties this year, but regardless, Lauren Jade has got the flashy leotard bug. As in, she wants the shiniest, brightest, coolest leotards to wear. For so long she was insistent on wearing her most teeny tiny ballet outfits (they were at least 1 or 2 sizes too small) to gym class. Well, not anymore.

Nana brings her to class every Tuesday, so on show day this past week, it was no different.



Daddy left work early to join us too.

Rings.



To be honest, this is the least serious form of gymnastics I've ever seen. Even the show was somewhat chaotic at times, with 2 instructors trying to corral 13 kids while they waited for their turn on each event (Lauren, of course, was a perfect polite angel).



However, she seems to genuinely enjoy this class and absolutely loves her teachers.

So we will continue to open our wallets for yet another session, and upon its conclusion, will gladly suit up for show time to cheer on our Lil Gymnast. Who, hands down, will be wearing the raddest leotard of the bunch.
