Yes, that's really the only word I could possibly use to describe our child when I walked in the door from work tonight. All I could hear was joyous shrieking coming from the backyard. As I stepped into the sweltering air (yes, 95 degrees F as of 5:30 p.m.!), to my delight I saw my dad in the pool with Lauren. It was clearly an unexpected after-dinner dip in the water and she was certainly making the most of the 30 minutes of refreshing fun she was granted.

The enthusiasm and energy was so contagious, I was sorely tempted to jump right in, high heels and all. Kinda wish I had. No matter. Think I'll sneak in a dip right now.
