To 2012

We are ready to party it up tonight. Steak and shrimp, sweet potato fries, broccolini, and a Big Top Cupcake. Lauren's staying up to watch the ball drop in Times Square and is so excited she can hardly contain herself. A trip to Party City was essential earlier today to load up on supplies for the occasion.

Tomorrow I'm making a special breakfast of eggs, ham steaks and croissants. Then just quality time at home, nothing else definite planned.

I've been reflecting on the past year. It's been a tough one on so many levels, but I've come to learn that things happen for a reason and we have so many blessings. The coming year is going to be fabulous, I can feel it. Wishing the same for everyone else, too. Let's love, laugh, and live like never before.
