A Trip and Our Budding Artist

Mama's off for a work trip for almost a week. I've learned it truly does take a village to hold down the fort at home. Tremendous thanks to Jackie, my mom and of course, Hubs. I'm missing everybody and everything about this place already. Sob.

In other news, Lauren is taking an enrichment class at school called "Little Rembrandts." She's already brought home some beautiful drawings and paintings. I take it she must be tremendously inspired by her art teacher (or perhaps Cousin Harry's recent art lesson), because she recently decided to stretch her creative wings and test her skills on a new medium.



We call it "Scribbles with Ball Point Pen on Faux Leather Ottoman". And like all the work of the greatest artists, it will be with us for eternity.
