Her I'm going to suck my thumb and glare at you if you dare take another picture of me look:

Snuggling with the ever present Cinderella blankie, just before relinquishing it (it stays in the house and never goes in the car - we would have no idea how to find another one to replace it so can't risk the damage sure to be inflicted by allowing it to venture out into the real world):
All of the kids had to bring a change of clothes to school, and when Nana picked her up, Lauren was only one of two children in her class of 16 who still had her pajamas on. Apparently the kids were given the option to change into their "street" clothes before school was over, but Lauren refused to part with her robe and slippers. Was she thinking ahead to her imminent naptime and using her noggin by wanting to stay in her comfy nighttime togs? Perhaps. Or, in a more likely scenario, Lauren wanted express her individuality and stand out in the crowd (which we greatly encourage). Either way, because she had so much fun and felt so special, think we may have to implement our own "PJ day" on a more regular basis.
