Learning to Ride

It happened. Yes, she was hesitant, scared she would fall without the support of her training wheels. But she ultimately overcame her fear, buoyed by the knowledge that this was something she could, no, she had, to do.



Some days she still wavers, wanting to go back to the safety of her training wheels. We allow her those moments of uncertainty, not pushing too hard, knowing she will climb back on once she's ready and the determination that defines her sets in again.
