Exhibit A - Crazy hair day during summer school. I earned big bonus points for going all out on this.
Exhibit B - french braids.
It only took me 43 years and the patient tutorial of my 14-year-old niece Jess to learn how to do it. I've still got a ways to go in terms of keeping the braids tight, but Lauren's pretty darned happy, which is more than enough for me at this point.
