Pajama Day

Lauren gets to spend tomorrow morning with Norm since Mama has an appointment (hey, the hair's gotta get done sometime). Tonight while we were both putting her to bed, Norm promised Lauren that he would take her out tomorrow to have pancakes for breakfast. With a gleam in her eye, Lauren excitedly asked "Can we wear our pajamas?." His response? "Of course!"

After Norm left the room, Lauren suddenly turned to me, her little brow furrowed and genuine concern etched on her face. "What is it, sweetheart?", I asked.

"Mama", she said, "I really hope Daddy doesn't go naked."
