The Last Weekend

After a 3 week visit, my brother's family is off today to move too far away. We saw them a number of times during their stay, and needless to say, Lauren is very attached. We spent a final afternoon together yesterday at Fashion Island and while the weather was gloomy, our spirits were decidedly upbeat. Who knew that a few hours at a shopping mall could be so much fun, especially when I wasn't buying anything for myself?

We all fell in love with this bulldog puppy in the pet store window. Why, you ask?
