The Celebration Continues

Norm's parents traveled out to help celebrate Lauren's birthday (we are so fortunate they have come out every year) and Lauren loved having her Nanni and Pop-Pop Paul bunk for 12 days in the guest room right next door to hers.

A couple of Lauren's favorite activities during their visit (besides enjoying all of the wonderful gifts they bestowed upon her)?

And the ever popular yet classic:

Lauren's actual birthday was 3 days after her party. Mommy and Daddy waited to reveal their gift until that morning. Pajama clad and with tousled bedhead, she excitedly entered the playroom to find . . . . .

Puppets!

Along with her very own puppet theater:

With her imagination, we can hardly wait for the shows to begin.

After Mommy and Daddy headed off to work, Lauren spent the day with Nanni, Pop-Pop Paul, and her former nanny Kristen. She was in heaven playing miniature golf at Boomers, then went to Red Robin for dinner (where I joined them). Burgers, fries, an ice cream sundae for the birthday girl, and a big bunch of balloons - perfect!

Until next year!
