Girls' Brunch

The day after my birthday Lauren and I hosted bestie high school friends Donna and Shayna for brunch, replete with bagels, lox, spinach and feta quiche, chopped liver, lean corned beef and rye bread. Oh yes, we don't skimp when it comes to quantities of food around here.

Topping it off was a bottle of that Wilson Creek Almond Champagne (with grape juice for Lauren), and we enjoyed each other's company for a good couple of hours.


Of course, per Lauren Jade, no festive meal is complete without a game of telephone.


The word of the day? "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." Or something like that.
