Besides plenty of cuddles and laying around, our Saturday went a little somethin' like this.
Impromptu ballet performance to Ariel's song from Little Mermaid, inclusive of an uber dramatic ending on the floor.
Hot steam bath with eucalyptus oil, and spelling lesson with Miss Lauren as the teacher.
[she swears it's a real word, no lie]
The highlight of the day for her? Getting to stay up almost an hour past her normal bedtime (which is 7:30 p.m.) so she could "read" in bed with her new book light.
Everyone was feeling much better today, so off we gladly went to classmate Naya's 5th birthday party at a trampoline venue called Jump Sky High.
Talk about a workout! But the kids couldn't have cared less as their sweat-soaked hair stuck to their faces. They were too busy having the time of their lives.
You didn't think this Mama and Daddy would miss out on the fun, did you?
The whole gang was there, including Toby and Ava.
And, of course, Virginia aka Gigi aka Meow Meow.
This coming week Lauren will be the Shabbat Star at school. And next Sunday - her birthday party!!! Oh yes, we have a huge week ahead of us. We. simply. cannot. wait.
