Sunday Sunday

I often sit down on Sunday evenings and wonder how we manage to fit so much into a day that has been called a day of rest. Ha. Would it be nice to occasionally begin our day later than 6:00 a.m.? Um, sure, I wouldn't complain about that one. But then maybe we wouldn't get to indulge in so many activities.

On tap today through the eyes of our girl:

* 6 a.m. wakeup - had to go get Mom and Dad up too! Slackers.
* Moped a little when Daddy left for a surf, but cheered up immeasurably when ....
* Mom made me Minnie Mouse pancakes (decorated with princess gels) for breakfast.
* Caught last 20 minutes of Dirty Dancing on t.v. - then I sang "I've had the Time of My Life" at the top of my lungs in the car the entire time on our way to my .......
* Swim lesson.
* Major trip to supermarket with Mom in one of those massive toddler car carts (we spent an hour there and Mom only had to buy a plastic baseball bat with ball and 2 sets of gel clings to placate me, although we did come close to taking out a sweet elderly couple in aisle 4 - the front wheel drive on those things majorly stink).
* Hopped on my bike for a ride throughout the neighborhood with Daddy on his skateboard.
* Afternoon adventure with Daddy to the library and park - only ran up and down the huge hill with the lemon trees 4 or 5 times.
* Family snuggling on the couch while watching last week's episode of Glee.
* Helped make Boboli pizza for dinner. Then inhaled pizza and spinach salad.
* Got creative on the living room windows with my new gel stickers. Here's the evidence:





* Ran rampant throughout the house to get some of the excess energy out.
* Game of Go Fish with Dad before bed (beat him again, hah!)
* Book in bed
* Passed out, grudgingly
