Snuggling

Lauren's a cuddler, always has been. I can't begin to estimate how many hours of her life thus far have been spent snuggled in the crook of someone's arm, either in the rocking chair, a couch, or bed. For someone who astonishes us on a daily basis by her ability to go a million miles an hour, she is equally capable of utterly chillin' when it's time to recharge.

Starting yesterday afternoon, she did just that.

First in the office with Daddy as the afternoon sun began to fade.

Then before bed with Uncle Brian, who joined us for dinner.

She's now at the library and park with Daddy, but I expect them to return home any minute for the start of the Super Bowl. I've been whipping up healthy eats for the game, including buffalo chicken/turkey meatballs and fresh guacamole with veggies. I won't watch the game, but do plan on indulging in a little snackin' and snugglin' myself.

Even though his laptop was never far from reach, he still looks pretty content, no?
