It's Pumpkin Patch Time!

One of Lauren's favorite experiences of all time was when she visited the pumpkin patch down the street by our house last year. She insisted on going almost every day for several weeks before Halloween in order to see Elmo, Shrek and various other characters (courtesy of some high school kids looking for some extra cash). She seriously has been talking about going back to the pumpkin patch for an entire year. We have been patiently waiting for October and the pumpkin patch to return. Lo and behold, we found out that the pumpkin patch with Elmo won't be there this year due to construction of a church on the site. Not to worry, we have discovered a pretty great setup at the Irvine Regional Park. Not only do they have lots of pumpkins, but they have a bouncy house (I swear, this child would live in one if she could), a train ride, pony rides, and a haybale maze. She has already been twice in the past week, once with Kristen, and once with Mommy and Daddy. We're sure it will be a mainstay for her until Halloween. In the meantime, our search for a patch with Elmo will continue . . . . . . . .
