Let me tell you, when this girl puts her mind to something, she's committed, and you can be sure it will be done. Kind of like someone else we know.
7 days of continuously pushing on it with her tongue resulted in it looking like this shortly before bed tonight:

We assured her it would come out "for sure" tomorrow, but our girl wasn't having any of that. No. Committed, don't forget.
So just as we were finishing up her bedtime book and lights were ready to be turned out, she reached in and gave it a good yank.
Voila.

She insisted on including a note for the tooth fairy this time. To be left on the family room ottoman with her pillow, of course (one visit with cash and goodies still wasn't enough for her to allow the tooth fairy into her room in the dead of the night).

Using "best guess spelling", she labored for a good 15 minutes over what she wanted to say.

["Dear tooth fairy, I pulled out my tooth. If you are busy tonight it's ok."]
The first tooth was worth $2. This one pulled in $2.25. Just praying that when she sneaks out of her room around 3 a.m. to check out the loot, she'll be able to contain herself and won't decide to share at. that. very. moment.
Oh, who am I kidding? The grownups in the house will surely be adding an extra cup of coffee to our morning routine tomorrow. Gladly.
