New Life

Today is Yom Kippur, the day of atonement. It is a time of reflection, to look back on the past year and seek forgiveness for any transgressions. It is also a time to wipe the proverbial slate clean and look toward the future with an open heart and open mind.

The future holds so many wonderful possibilities, including the pending arrival of Nanny Kristen's baby girl, Celia. Kristen and Zak spent an afternoon with Lauren last weekend and since she's due any second now, the next time we see them, Celia will be here.

They went to one of Lauren's all time favorite venues, the Irvine Park pumpkin patch. Face painting, bouncy houses, a corn maze and haunted house filled their time together.

Given how very pregnant Kristen is, I was very impressed at her ability to be on her feet and walk around for so long. As you can see, Celia really is ready to meet us.

The bond between these two really is incredibly special. Thank you Kristen for remaining such an important part of our girl's life.

We give permission for the coming year to bring good health, happiness, and an abundance of love and joy to all.
