Ginger and Spice . . . .

Lauren just loves holidays, and the end of the year festivities are no different. She can sense the excitement in the air - of course the gifts arriving in the mail almost daily for Hanukkah could be a large contributing factor. Last weekend, we made gingerbread cookies. I bought cookie cutters of a gingerbread man, tree, star, and I located my menorah and dreidel cutters from years past. Yes, we used a mix (a whole stick of butter, ay!), but Lauren still got to get her hands messy and experience her first rolling pin. I don't know who had more fun, Lauren or her daddy:
