With the same table linens and all.

Although we did arrange a special appearance from our seder plate.

Norm made a huge tureen of his famous from-scratch chicken soup, assisted by an eager sous chef.

For the main course, we prepared brisket and roast chicken. Enough to feed an army. Seriously. My mom bought 3 briskets, yes three. I cooked two and she cooked the third one. The night before the seder, she tells me she has 2 chickens in her refrigerator that absolutely need to be cooked, so she's going to bring those also. Mind you, one brisket alone easily serves 5-6 people. We only had twelve, total. The good news? Leftovers were guaranteed. Yum-o.

Prior to the start of the seder, Lauren serenaded us all with a little Ode to Joy.

Bellissimo.
Parts of the service this year were enhanced with visual accoutrements. Such as the 10 plagues.
Witness darkness, with a side of frogs on her plate.

After dinner, the kids geared up to search for the Afikomen (matzah).

Success!

So, so wonderful to have a house full of family. Yes, the preparation and coordination of everything was hectic and crazy. But at the end of the day, I wouldn't have it any other way.
