Disney Day

Lauren recently had a Friday off of school for faculty in-service. We took the opportunity to spend a few hours at The Happiest Place on Earth before our annual passes expire (and we will never, ever purchase them again because they are practically doubling the prices).

With only 3 hours and Lauren's burning desire to visit with fairies and other characters, we only got on one ride - Finding Nemo. But she was just fine with that. There was still plenty to do and see.

Such as watching peanut brittle being made before our eyes.

Meeting the newest fairy, Periwinkle (who just so happens to be the little sorority sister of our summer nanny Diana!).

And her most favorite part of the visit?

Getting her mama to agree to allow her to have her face painted.

[Best 17 bucks I've spent in quite a while. And Disney's making a killing because it seriously took less than 5 minutes from start to finish]

Our passes are only good through January 1, 2013, so I'm trying to figure out if we can find another day to sneak back over to the parks (still need to try the Cars ride in California Adventure!) But if not, we made it 4 times this year and had a blast on each and every occasion.
