Ballet Recital Preview

Lauren's ballet recital is not until late June. However, they had to don their costumes, shellac their hair, and apply a touch of makeup (way less than for the real thing) to take professional pics (so all parents can fork over $100 or so). The theme of this year's recital is "Tell Me A Tale", and Lauren's pre-primary class is portraying Parisienne little girls, a la Madeline. Emerging from the dressing room ......... Hanging with friends in her group while patiently waiting to face the photographer. Not to mention getting some practice in. Finally it was Lauren's turn, and I caught a quick glance through the window. [Immediately after this photo was taken, a very snippy photographer's assistant hastily lowered the window blinds so no other pictures could be taken. Really? I was tempted not to order photos from these people after a move like that.] All Fini'!!
