Disneyland Adventure

So, we finally did it. Bit the bullet and bought annual passes to Disneyland. It's only 15-20 minutes from our house and with a 4-year-old obsessed with all things princess and fairies, we figured it would be a good investment. Now it's kind of exciting to think we can just pop by for a couple of hours whenever we want without having to spend an entire day navigating the crowds.

Yesterday was our inaugural annual pass visit, prompted by a trip from Chicago from my good friend Nancy and her kids, along with her parents who live locally. Lauren has not seen them in well over a year, and was so thrilled to be with "big sister" Sophie for the afternoon.

Before our friends got there, Lauren and I initiated the park by going on the Small World ride. Getting smiles for the camera was no problemo on this particular day.

After Nanc and family arrived, it was right back to Small World for another spin.

The kids had a blast together, instantly bonding:

Another first for the day? Lauren's first taste of cotton candy.

Did she like it? You be the judge.

Thankfully, after a couple of handfuls, she had enough and gladly passed it to the other kids for consumption.

A few hours later of walking amongst the throng of tourists, we called it a day.

Already looking forward to our next visit, which is just around the corner, we're sure!

What a blessing to live so close to Disney Land.
