Nanni and Pop-Pop came for a visit just before Thanksgiving for almost 2 weeks, and they soaked up every second they could get with her. Here are just a few of the special moments captured during that time.
The day Lauren was the Shabbat star at school, we all joined her and then grabbed lunch at Ruby's by the beach. Hurry up, Pop-Pop!
Later that evening she was firmly attached to one of her new best friends:
You can't really see it in the pic, but Lauren was just given a beautiful Star of David necklace and was trying to show it off for the camera:

Which made her so excited, she promptly broke into her happy dance:

At ballet class, Lauren was thrilled to have an audience beyond mom and dad:

Why pay attention to Miss Hayley when Nanni and Pop-Pop are much more entertaining?

Lauren gets to see my parents (Nana and Pop-Pop Mark) weekly. My mom watches her at least once a week, and both my mom and dad typically see her one day on the weekend.
Most recently, my parents joined us to celebrate Hanukkah, where I managed to document a small sampling of the bond they share.

It is so rewarding to view the relationship between a grandchild and grandparents. Even if Lauren is too young to have clear memories of these particular moments, we certainly will remember and appreciate them.
